can't find libntdll.so, but it's there
Wine (20001202-1mdk) invoked, message "can't find libntdll.so, no such file
or directory." However there is such a file. Same wine.conf file used as
with earlier version 20001026-4mdk. In both installations, wine never made
a proper wine.conf file, file was blank and I had to write my own. I don't
notice anything in the wine.conf file about where the libraries are.

Rails vs. Cocoon
Hello all,
I''m hoping that someone out there in Rails-land has developed in both Cocoon
and Rails and would like to share their experiences using both application
frameworks.
I''m going to be doing a presentation in the next couple of days on the
advantages that Rails affords. The higher-ups are going to use this info on
deciding whether or not to move away from Cocoon and

nbdkit background threads
https://github.com/libguestfs/nbdkit/blob/ecef5b16359fb5af7e7abf4fd2fb3ad5438b16be/TODO#L76
Already existing filters (readahead, cache) could be improved if
filters could open a background work thread or threads which connect

really be written at all without this capability.
First of all the reason this can't be done today is

There's also the question of how we would do compostion. For example,
right now, the 'split' plugin basically acts as a compose operation over
the 'file' plugin (you can concatenate more than one regular file), but
more generically, we'd want some way to compose an arbitrary number of
plugins and/or filters, where having a so...

[Patch RFC] nouveau accelerated on Xen pv-ops kernel
Hi,
Following is a simple patch that is needed in nouveau to get
accelerated X on a Xen dom0 pv_ops kernel. The kernel is jeremy's
2.6.31.6 as of 20100222. The whole gpu tree of nouveau (which is
almost the mainline merge), was substituted into the kernel-tree.
All components of X (mesa, Xorg-server-7.5, xf86-nouveau, libdrm) used
of the same day.
