Hello,
I am using the latest version of Dovecot on a FreeBSD box.
I am trying to figure out which password scheme to use to comply with
my database backend which is administered by "postfix admin".
Here is an example of the password that can be generated in the
database using the various encryption schemes available in postfix

Extending IMAP daemon to comply with legacy Proxy
Hello,
I am currently investigating if and how to migrate a legacy setup based
on a modified Courier installation to Dovecot. So far I am really liking
Dovecot. however, I will have to work with an existing IMAP proxy for the
time being.
In particular, the proxy authenticates the user and looks up the location
of the mail directory and transfers the data to the actual server via an
extension

How to complie Icecast2 on Win32
if you are reading from line in, then use 44100/Stereo, Oddcast (pre
oddcastv2) has issues with converting 22/mono to 22/mono....basically, all
is good if you have 44kHz input (I think mono or stereo works)...

[lists] Re: Re: How to complie Icecast2 on Win32
Thanks for everything. I just have one complaint: Oddcast won't save
my broadcasts. But I can get around that by having a second Winamp
session open and setting the vorbis decoder to save streams and then
tuning into my own stream.

Has anyone complied Wine onto a Sparc (Suse 7.1.)?
The actual machine I have is a SPARCStation20.
I know I can't d/l the binaries, but I've heard that it's possible to
compile the source.
I'd like to hear from anyone that's accomplished this feat, with, if
possible some pointers on how to do it.
I've never yet compiled any source code, (I find it difficult to grasp the
ins-and-outs of it ("./configure" this, "make" that, and "bugger up" the
other!)) so I'm a little apprehensive about div...

checking complied code found 'abort'
Hello,
The package cts on CRAN generated a note on some systems. For

How to complie Icecast2 on Win32
Ok. Now it will run. But when i try to play back my stream(either
ogg/vorbis or mp3) it sounds like the chipmunks. Could it be that I'm
broadcasting at a sample rate of 22050 in mono? This shouldn't make a
difference as the source is also 22050 samplerate and mono(its the
line-in plugin for winamp). I'm using Winamp 2.81 with the is the
Oddcast DSP for Winamp 2.xx plugin to

Which SIP phone "comply" with COLP feature
Hi,
I would like to test the following COLP use case :
Alice and Bob are both using a SIP phone registered on a Asterisk 10 server.
Alice dials Bob's extension.
While Bob's phone is ringing, Asterisk updates Alice phone screen with
Bob's name, so that at a glance, Alice can check she dialed the
correct number.
Before diving into Asterisk documentation, I would be happy to be

s language version and complie languages
...R version use? Venables and Ripley's
book (2000) says R is version 3 of S language. Is there any change since
2000 ?
I searched R-help archive for using C or C++ with R. Although there are some
postings, I am looking for up-to-date answers. Which one ( C and C++) works
better with R? What complier is the best suited for R ( gcc or visual c++ or
others)?
Taka,
