Using Dropbear for RTOS which is not POSIX complaint?
Hi, We have a proprietary RTOS which is *not* POSIX complaint. We want to port SSH server and SCP client onto our platform. How difficult it would be, to port Dropbear into our platform? We would like to integrate our CLI with the SSH. Any recommendations on using Dropbear for our platform? Appreciate sharing your experiences with Dropbear. --- Thanks, Mohan

IAX complaints? What are they?
Hi, We all know what the principal advantage of IAX is, doing it all on a single port, right? But now and again I hear complaints about it. What specific griefs have you had with IAX and has it stopped you from using it entirely? Under what conditions have you had problems? I have used SIP and IAX for about three years now. We don't do a lot of traffic, but I haven't really seen a difference in quality or dropped cal...

automount complaints
Folks, I've been getting complaints in our logfiles, such as May 12 10:07:07 <servername> automount[3415]: update_negative_cache: key ".git" not found in map. a) Is there a FAQ on automount that might cover some of this? Googling hasn't found one for me? b) Any clues as to what might be causing this...

Bogus ssh complaints about dns
...in name from the search record in resolv.conf it says the ip maps to the correct full name it gets from reverse dns, and claims the full name does not map back to the ip, but it does as verified by both nslookup and dig If I ssh to the full name instead of the short name, the I don't get these complaints. The short term work around is to make sure all scripts use the full name, instead of the short name without the domain. But that is very annoying. I browsed through the man pages for ssh, sshd, ssh_config, and sshd_config and did not spot anything that was misconfigured. But I could have misse...

understanding I() in lmer formula
Is there a difference between I(x*y) and I(y*x) ? I have a call to lmer that results in this complaint: Error in is.alpha2.subordinate * ~z.min.co.res : non-numeric argument to binary operator when I change this line: I(is.alpha2.subordinate*z.min.co.res)+ to this: I(z.min.co.res*is.alpha2.subordinate)+ the complaint goes away. I'd like to understand why.

Question about curve function
Dear Sirs, I am a new user of the R package. When I try to use the curve function it confuses me. > curve(x^2) Works fine. > curve(x) Makes a complaint I don't understand. Why is x^2 valid and x is not? I check the documentation of curve, and it says the first argument must be an expression containing x. > expression(x) Is an expression containing x. > curve(expression(x))

Reporting a Complaint
I'm sorry my first post is along these lines, but I recently made a bug report regarding a game running in Wine and was, in rather unfriendly words, informed that I had posted in an incorrect bug report by a developer. I subsequently started a new bug report for the problem and was replied to by that same developer from the first bug. He replied in more, rather unfriendly, terms and
