If so, is there a way for a group pr user policy to allow samba users to things in windows vista, like install programs w/o admin access. ...to connect to the fileserver via windows i get access denied. connect from dc1 to fileserver via smbclient does work. on the fileserver: - wbinfo -u show user - wbinfo -P succeeded - wbinfo -g show groups - wbinfo -a Administrator succeeded - pam-auth-update -> kbr, unix, winbind nsswitch as compad winbind like https://wiki.samba.org/index.php/Setting_up_Samba_as_a_Domain_Member getent passwd does *not* show domain unsers but thats not the problem i think. how can help please?

Hi, I recently wanted to try out the new 0.9.53 version (previously I had 0.9.35 installed), so I downloaded it from http://wine.budgetdedicated.com/archive/index.html (32-bit for Ubuntu Edgy, though I'm on x86_64) and installed it (did dpkg -r wine before), which went fine. Then I went on trying out some programs, but upon starting (say, winecfg), it filled the screen with messages like

So I used to use the winepulse patch for wine. (Yes I like pulse). But since 1.3.25+ uses mmdevapi for audio, that patch no longer works. That author points to a wine multimedia git, however, after installing that I have no more sound in any wine application, and the winecfg test audio says audio failed.
