As a side question, it would be great also if someone with more experience
on this matter could confirm with me that the proper direction for checking
whether "the y(t) = a/(1 +b*t) form models more precisely the behavior of

Sorry for the offtopic subject, but I tried asking this on some Apple
mailing lists and could not find an answer there, and as it's related
to imap (provided by dovecot), someone might know something about this.

Which distribution best fits the data?
Dear R-help community,
Does anybody know of a stats function in R that tells you which
distribution best fits your data? I have tried look through the archives
but have only found functions that tell you if it's normal or log etc.
specifically - I am looking for a function that tells you (given a
timeseries) what the distribution is.
Any help/advice will be greatly appreciated,
