The Sims 1: iKernel.exe
...think it's
/media/cdrom0/Setup/Setup.exe). Then, the installer opens, showing its
splash screen, the progress bar dialog, and an "OK" button-type dialog
that says:
The InstallShield Engine (iKernel.exe) could not be installed.
IKernel.exe could not be copied to 'c:\Program Files\Commoon
Files\InstallShield\Engine\6\Intel 32'.
Make sure that you have the appropriate privileges to copy files to
this folder. (0x20)
Running wine as root does the same thing. Is there a workaround, or is
it just a "Sims will never work in wine" thing?

Outlook/Express Crawling with Domains

this is happening, I can open internet explorer and browse the web, or
pull up shares on the PDC at full speed. Also, you know the network
connection lights in the system tray? Well they don't blink but very
sparingly while outlook/express are hung. Am I missing something here ?
Is this commoon? Everythihng works fine, it's just the speed is
anoying. And it's not the size of the mailboxes, because they do that
even when setting up a new one.
Also, as a side note, maybe someone might have the answer to this as
well. Once I switched to a domain, the user can no longer open Windo...
