LLVM z80 backend and llvm-dis missing?
Inspired by Jason Turner's talk at CppCon 2016: Jason Turner “Rich Code for Tiny Computers: A Simple Commodore 64 Game in C++17” I got interested in writing a Zilog Z80 backend for LLVM. Jason actually did no such thing, but instead wrote a x86-to-6502 translator (reassembler he calls it) https://github.com/lefticus/x86-to-6502 So I'm now trying to bootstrap this project. Goal: - be able to use C++17...

Asterisk 1.2 is getting closer - please help
...before release! * Update the Wiki on the 1.2 version. Make sure that you make it very clear that new features only work in 1.2 and releases after that so you won't confuse readers that use older versions. * Test Asterisk CVS head on other platforms than Linux: FreeBSD, OpenBSD, MacOS/X, Commodore VIC 20 - will it work? When is 1.2 scheduled to be released? ------------------------------------- At usual with Open Source, we release when the software is ready for release. Moving a pool from FreeBSD 8.0 to opensolaris
I was wondering what the best method of moving a pool from FreeBSD 8.0 to OpenSolaris is. When i originally built my system, it was using hardware which wouldn''t work in opensolairs, but i''m about to do an upgrade so i should be able to use Opensolaris when i''m done. My current system uses a Highpoint RocketRaid 2340. It has 12 1TB hard drives an intel core2 quad

That's something that I've never gone looking for since the subject has never come up with the stuff that I do, but it seems to me that a signature pad is merely a small-format drawing tablet and that's a very old technology. (There was a drawing tablet available for the Commodore 64.) So perhaps instead of looking for a "signature pad" what you really want is just a small drawing tablet like a Wacom for which linux drivers come built-in with Centos. -- MELVILLE THEATRE ~ Real D 3D Digital Cinema ~ www.melvilletheatre.com

Question from Argentina
...me a lot, since 2^64 = 1.84e+19, i.e., far more samples > and bytes than can be expected in any file... ever. Fast reverse to the year 1985, when the Interchange File Format was introduced (the basis of many common file formats, notably WAV): The best-selling home computer at the time, the Commodore 64, had 2^16 bytes (64 KiB) of RAM. A typical hard disk drive offered perhaps 10 MB of storage, or about 2^24 bytes; although very expensive HDDs of, say, 1 GB capacity already existed, but noone would have dreamed of filling it completely with audio data, let alone in one single file. Scrabble??
Does anyone know a way to run a Scrabble program on CentOS? (I realize the obvious existence of Wine and of virtual machines; but my experience with both has been thoroughly unsatisfactory. So I'd much rather get a linux-native app.) There seem to be two proprietary Scrabble programs, one in which you play against the computer, and one in which you play against a remote friend.

Bazel support
Hi Wynand, My big concern is related to what Mehdi mentioned as #4. Bazel doesn't really handle the configuration-management that CMake does, so adding Bazel support would really mean supporting an extra build system with no path for it to replace CMake. We're kinda already in that situation with gn, but gn is a developer productivity tool and we don't consider changes that break gn
