SQL via RODBC
...list, Is there a way to use sqlQuery function where there is a sql file (ie. sample.sql)? I just want to mention that in my sql file there are some comment lines (starting with --). This means that if I paste all the lines in the sql file, I'll come up with a long string that most part of it is commneted (after commnet sign --). thanks Arvin [[alternative HTML version deleted]]

Symbian port
...couple of things to be noted on the symbian port. 1. the spokn.mmp file is missing window.c, please add that. 2. smallft.c is not required. it has global data that prevents compilation on symbian. 3. lbr_48k_tabels.c has a global variable called dummy_epic_48k_variable on line 37. this has to be commneted out too. 4. check that all tables are declared const. i will shortly post the symbian build file (speex.mmp) that will work with 1.1.12. - farhan

[PATCH v4 0/4] vsock: cancel connect packets when failing to connect
Currently, if a connect call fails on a signal or timeout (e.g., guest is still in the process of starting up), we'll just return to caller and leave the connect packet queued and they are sent even though the connection is considered a failure, which can confuse applications with unwanted false connect attempt. The patchset enables vsock (both host and guest) to cancel queued packets when a

It would be extremely hard for someone to trigger that via indirect means (such as inserting DB data and managing to match a checksum record boundary in contents somehow). So, it has a very small potential to cause a

SSH and winbind authentication on Solaris 10
I've googled my heart out, but I cannot see an example of ssh authentication with Active Directory and winbindd, particularly on Solaris 10. I have it working on Solaris 8 with telnet, but I'm trying to break my users of telnet. Has anyone got it working? If so, would you be willing to share the global section of your smb.conf and pam.conf with me? Is there something I need to put in one
