So...is lighttpd/fcgi on its way out, Apache/mongrel the up-and-comer?
I''ve been using a homegrown system to do billing for my site. Right now I want to add a couple things, but I''m not sure I want to actually have to work on this billing system. Seems like it''d make a lot more sense to just use an existing package like ModernBill [1]. I''ve never used PHP on lighttpd, never needed to. Not sure if MB can run on it, or how well

[LLVMdev] new comer question
Hello LLVMers, I am considering LLVM for a project, but I am not sure the handling of (C/C++ or 3rd party) library code used by user program. My understanding is that if those library code comes in native format, then all the benefit of LLVM is lost on them. Can they be decompiled into LLVM bytecode, or what options are there if I want to write a runtime pass that has to analyze native code?

Using if
Dear R users, As a new comer to R, I would like to create a new variable using if statements but don't know how to do it. Basically, I have two variables (EvHint and MinTex). I want to create a third variable called RiskTest. In SPSS, my syntax would look like Compute RiskTest=0. if (EvHint=1 & MinTex=1) RiskTest=1. Question: How do I do this with R? My Data EvHint<-c(0, 0, 0, 1,

reducing learning curves?
Hi all, I am really new to the R language. I am a long time Matlab and C++ user and I was "forced" to learn R because I am taking a statistics class. I am seeking to reduce the learning curve to as smooth as possible. Are there any addon/plug-in features that can reduce the learning curve, for example, the following features can be very helpful for new learners: 1. Matlab-like

GSoC 2018
Hi Guys! I have a suggestion about the projects in idea section. Projects <http://llvm.org/OpenProjects.html#gsoc18> are listed as GSoC 2018 followed by GSoC 2017, I hope that some projects in the GSoC 2017 section are already taken by previous year gsoc students, could you please remove those projects from the list and include the remaining projects in GSoC 2018. Because one cannot make

help on IDE
I am new comer in R.There r few IDE like Tinn R,VIM etc.I mean How to use them? Do I need to install R and then install them to use or they can work alone? Also does one install packages on R or IDEs? Can I call/use the package from IDEs? regards Parth -- Socrates, proclaimed: "I came to know one thing; that I know nothing".

General "moving" functions
General "moving" function. I'm a relatively new comer to R, and I've only just started writing my own R functions. However, I need some help for something which I'm sure is quite straight forward. I want to write a function that will allow me to calculate "moving results" for a given vector. Ideally, the function will be of the form foo<-function(vector1,

[LLVMdev] LLVM projects: Change framework
hi all, I have used LLVM extensively over the last 2 years. I have realized a so called change framework that based on the LLVM framework. Basically it is a framework that augments the JIT to understand "changes", such that a mutator process can formulate changes in a change language (inspired by DTrace's D), which is too compiled to LLVM and sent to the application process.

TI 59 backend
Hello, I am a new comer to llvm framework. I read quite many tutorials but I am still not able to determine whether llvm can be used for my project: implementing a backend for the famous Texas Instruments 59 Calculator (sold from 1977 to 1982). This is not a CPU but it uses a kind of bytecode that is interpreted (see examples in http://ti59compiler.wixsite.com/ti59/t-compiler). It has no stack,

How to set macaddr with nmcli
I see my problem.? I mis-read what nmcli con mod eth0 mac "02:67:15:00:81:0B" does.? It sets HWADDR; which interface to link to, not MACADDR, what MAC address you want for your interface. So I have read the nmcli pages and googled a bit.? I cannot find a way to set MACADDR.? I suppose I can set HWADDR then use sed to change it to MACADDR, but this seems a real hack. ARM boards do
