According to the AppDB, the Infinity Combat Prototype works perfectly. Unfortunately, when I try to run it, it freezes when it tries to load OpenAL. I've tried installing the OpenAL stuff linked to on the DB entry: no effect. Stderr shows nothing useful when running it and running it with WINEDEBUG=+openal32 shows nothing more.

I've been trying to get FEAR Combat to work out with WINE and, at first, had no problem with any mouse lag. Then, started getting ridiculous and unplayable choppy mouse lag. All while the game itself runs over 100 FPS. The mouse lag kills it. I'm running WINE 1.3.17 on Ubuntu Maverick (64-bit) 10.10 Please and thank you anyone...

I know this is a pretty old game, but I feel like the problem is universal. Graphics settings for the game don't detect any graphics drivers other than a HAL display device. This is weird, as I've had other games like Ghost Recon work flawlessly with my card, which is an Intel GMA X3100 / GM965. Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance.

I recently found that Halo was not properly displaying menu and other 2D items in any color except black. I didn't have this problem until I upgraded to wine 1.3.24.
