Marks SNMP HowTo
...is fine. Does anyone have a idea what is going
on? I have never used agentX, so I am unsure of what it is doing.
Does it bind to a particular port that maybe my asterisk user does not
have permission to access???
Here is my snmpd.conf file:

Asterisk-1.4 with agent snmp
Hi,
I`m trying to use the agent snmp buit in the asterisk-1.4, but I can`t
do this...

can't...
Does somebody know how to do this or knows a how-to to do this??

net-snmp puzzle
I have a bunch of centos 5.2 boxes.
I'm trying to run smtp on all of them.
Using indentical net-snmp configuration files.
/etc/snmp/snmpd.conf

an snmpd.conf file. The default snmpd installation does not grant full read
permissions to the "public" community string. Setup a snmp user for cacti
adding the following lines to /etc/snmp.conf :

Hello,
Can someone explain why I don't get a timeout when I use the community string "public" even if I don't have it
defined in my snmpd.conf file. It doesn't return data but it also doesn't timeout. See example below.
