barplot2
...he barplot2 function in the gregmisc
package:
body2 <- barplot2(hh3, beside = TRUE,
col = c("mistyrose", "lightcyan"),
....
cex.names = 1.0, plot.ci = TRUE, ci.l = cil, ci.u = ciu,
plot.grid = TRUE)
box()
However, obviously I lose the collors when converting from ps to a pdf
(outside of R) but I get a single shaded pattern!
Is it my choice of collors? Or the conversion software I am using?
Any help would be appreciated.
TIA Marwan

Slow windows -> cups print (Facts discovered)
...be printed, I way 15/20 secs per page.
I've installed the network printer with the correct HP drivers.
After trying a LOT of stuff, I've installed the PostScript Printer Driver from
ADOBE and it just works GREAT. When I print the page it's immediate. Problem is
that it don't print collors. To make things tricker, it prints collors on the
"test page".
I'm confused in understanding why when using the HP drivers the print process
takes a lot of time and when using the adobe postscript ones, it's immediate.
Then, I wouldn't care if I needed to use the adobe driver...

Dotplot
...plot (from Frank Harrell's HMISC library) to make a graph of rates
with confidence intervals but I get a 'black' background -- nice but not on a
printed document:
>Dotplot(group~Cbind(rate,lower,upper)|mortality,data=mort,ylab=' ')
How do I change the background (and other) collors in Dotplot?
Thanks for you help.

I have recently been assigned to create a Samba PDC. Earlier in the

the test user's .ntprofile, etc. Went home that night, happy as could be.
Came back the next day - and nothing was working correctly. The systems
