SIP Context from domain?
...is there any specifc reason/restriction that I am missing? If it is
not already supported and there aren't any specific objections then I don't
mind putting together a patch for it.
I'm working with the last stable release and haven;t checked out CVS yet.

SIP and AGI crash...
...ted though as I don't see any of the warning from
chan_sip if I hang up during a call to the say-ani script.
I don't seem to be getting a core dump, are there any known issues with AGI
at the moment? Voicemail, SayUnixTime and everything else is working fine.

Stupid passwd tricks: User with blank GECOS can''t change passwd
I have discovered that a user who has a blank GECOS field in the passwd file
under RedHat 4.0 (Colgate) is unable to change passwords. Running the passwd
command goes like this:
[user@host user]$ passwd
Password: [entry of old passwd]
New password: [entry of new passwd]
[user@host user]$ echo $!

[user@host user]$
Setting the name field in the GECOS seems to solve this problem.

destroy() is being called on exception in both start() and create(). It
needs to be called only in create().

URLS and Human Factors
This post addresses URLs generated by Ruby on Rails from a human
factors point of view.
Allow me to use Hieraki as an example. Hieraki is a great
application. It was one of my first introductions to the power of
Ruby on Rails.
Scenario: When I navigated to Chapter 1 of a book the URL in my
address bar was http://www.library.com/read/chapter/6. This

My Rails Day entry: internet command line
Well, my entry for the 24-hour Rails Day competition is here: http://yubnub.org
. It''s a web app called YubNub that implements the grandiose idea of a "command
line for the Web OS". Type "gim porsche

for Porsche 911 cars. Type "random 1000" for a random number between 1 and

Jabber.com client
I'm trying to run the Jabber.com Windows client on Wine. It installs and starts
ok (version 1.12.0.0). It even goes to the KDE systray. The only problem I
found is when I try to type a message for someone: it doesn't let me type!!
If I click on the textbox area, it doesn't show the cursor blinking.
Any idea? I'm using Wine 20040309.
I can't use a generic Jabber

Incompatible types error
I'm trying to write a loop for a series of nested functions. and I get an
incompatible types error when trying to run it. It's supposed to be a
simulation (1000 iterations) with a random value for "rand" being chosen
each time. After each rand value is chosen, the rest of the functions are
evaluated with this given rand value and their "Fitness" sum value is saved
and
