sambaSamAccount and posixAccount cohabitation
Hi all,
I'm new on this list and I'm french, so my english could be worst !;)
My question is about sambaSamAccount and posixAccount objectClasses.
I want the user "test" be mapped to user root (uid=0, gid=0) when logged
into pam over ldap mechanism (such as ssh)
And I want the same user "test" be mapped to user test (uid=1003,
gid=513) when logged to Samba server.

Simplified Voicemail app / keeping peace with cohabitants
Hello,
I have modified the VoiceMailMain application to satisfy the request of
the "local users", i.e., my wife. She lost patience with too many
options (we have one mailbox, so we don't need to forward messages, or
reply to messages, or file them in 6 different folders...) So the
modified app says "Message 1", reads the message, "Message 2", reads...

Base and lattice graphics on the same graphics page
...0.1 of R. [Base graphics functions
that are themselves inconsistent with par(fig=...) are obviously
disallowed.]
I am wondering whether there are caveats of which I and others
should be aware, or whether there is a risk that the ongoing
development of R's graphics abilities will render such a cohabitation
unworkably fractious.
Example:
gph <- bwplot(voice.part ~ height, data=singer)
print(gph, position=c(0, 0.5, 1, 1)) # x0, y0, x1, y1
par(fig=c(0, 1, 0,0.5), new=TRUE) # x0, x1, y0, y1
boxplot(height ~ voice.part, data=singer, horiz=TRUE)

Integrated T1
Can an asterisk box equipped with a Digium T1 card handle Integrated T1 circuits? I have a T1 with 768k data and the remaining channels voice, can the asterisk box do the Data routing + Voice processing?
It's only going to support 4-5 users(the voice channels won't all be active obviously).

BSD magazine is out 05/2010!
...this is not enough: servers must be reliable and old
computers are (guess what?) ?old, and this increases their risk of disease.
That?s why embedded systems are a great option: they are (relatively)
inexpensive, silent, small, reliable? What else could you need? Ok, you have
to learn to cohabit with very basic hardware, but the right OS, with the
right configuration, will wallow in it!

Updating oVirt Server to the latest Matahari 0.4.0 schema
Hi all,
I looked at patching oVirt Server to work with the latest Matahari schema, from Matahari's 'next' branch, version 0.4.0.
ovirt-server depends on matahari version 0.0.5, which is currently latest in Fedora, and it is used during Node registration, to enumerate hardware information.
Usage extracted from src/host-browser/host-register.rb is as follows:
