When the battery level reaches a critical level, I want the computer to shut

Any suggestions as to why this is happening/how to fix it would be greatly

a mystery.
If there is in fact a definitive answer on this, please by all means FAQ or

on "it works for me" would suffice. All I need is an inch. Otherwise I'm
closing the coffin on this project and recommending something else for this

Chromium - Application-level nouveau blacklist
...ed just fine (at least in my usage of it), and probably
some other functionality.
One idea is to flip GL_VENDOR to some random string if chromium is
running. I don't like this idea, but I also don't have any great
alternatives. We can also just take this, as yet-another nail in the
nouveau coffin.
Opinions welcome.

How to use a saved SVM model from e1071
Hello,
I have an SVM model previously calibrated using libsvm R implementation from
the e1071 package.
I would like to use this SVM to predict values, from a Java program.
I first tried to use jlibsvm and the "standard" java implementation of
libsvm, without success.
Thus, I am now considering writing data in files from my Java code, calling
an R program to predict values, then gather

[Fwd: Re: FXRuby or wxRuby?]
...bad docs, even the docs at wx''s main site are confusing.
The wx API interface seems rather bloated in general and this
translates over to wxRuby. We also had problems getting the sizers to
work as we wanted, and things working on windows and not working on
Linux etc. The final nail in the coffin was when we hit the (known)
bugs and had to code around them.
So we switched to ruby-gtk2 and use glade to draw our GUI''s and
connect signals to events. The API is wonderful, everything works as
expected. Good docs. We redid our entire GUI (ok, it''s a small app) in
just 10 hours....

HipZip support?
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE-----
Hash: SHA1
Hello vorbis,
I know that hipzip/Dadio support was planned - does anyone have any
idea what the status of this is due to iomega's discontinuing of the
Hipzip product line?
Is there any way we can add ogg support to our hipzip's in the
future if Interactive Objects adds it to Dadio ?

Dovecot Oy merger with Open-Xchange AG
To Timo and the Dovecot guys - congratulations! I'm sure this merger with OpenXchange is going to provide you with a lot of resources and opportunities.
As a longtime user of dovecot, I do have a few concerns. I wonder if you can answer some questions for me.
You say that OpenXchange really likes open source and shares your plans for the future. Is this a commitment that future versions

Mongrel 0.3 -- Runs Ruby On Rails
...g
with Rails and Mongrel.
== Next Release
I''ll be focusing on making the Rails support tight as hell and
squeezing out every ounce of performance possible. This will include
making my dream caching mechanism.
I''ll also look at the next nail in the CGI library''s coffin: multi-
part mime decoding and handling uploaded files. I''m setting my
sights next on CGI as the library to take down. Anyone interested in
helping on this should contact me.
Enjoy the release and send me your bug reports.

Lattice box percentile plot
Dear Nabble.
I am trying to draw a box percentile plot with trellis using the panel in
Hmisc. I really want to colour the plots in. I can alter several of features
of the plot by changing the trellis par settings but I just can’t fill the
shape in.
Here is some example code which alters line colour and dot symbol:
require(lattice)
