Japanese Codepage 932 Help.
...ing to get samba to work on my system with Japanese character, and
I am really stuck. can anyone help me please?
first of all, i only see the codepage.932 which i want to use is 8bytes, is
this right file size of this file?.. i issued the command make_smbcodepage c
/usr/local/samba/source/codepages/codepage_def.932 /etc/codepage.932 and
that's what I got. and i also see the default installation codepage.932 is 8
bytes as well. second thing is that i put in my /etc/samba/smb.conf this
two lines:
coding system = EUC
client code page = 932
are those correct setting for it?

Multiple Instancies of Samba on a single System
Hi out there,
i intend to run multiple Instancies of Samba
on a single, multi-homed, server, with each instance bound
to a specific (logical) interface.
If this works, it would be fine to me.
Mainly for administrative Reasons. (You won't believe,
but from time to time it becomes necessary to restart
some services, but restarting the entire server is a
real mess)

Agrees CP1251. TXT:
0xB2 0x0406 *CYRILLIC CAPITAL LETTER BYELORUSSIAN-UKRAINIAN I
0xB3 0x0456 *CYRILLIC SMALL LETTER BYELORUSSIAN-UKRAINIAN I
In KOI8-R.TXT symbols 0x0406 and 0x0456 does not exist.
Also I was create file codepage_def.1251 from the file codepage_def.866 in
which has added
178 179 True True
In my smb.conf:
client code page = 1251
character set = KOI8-R
What I should to do or incorrectly has made for the decision of this
problem?
