"attack" (manage) NT domain using the linux tools?
rpcclient sound cool. I am running 2.0.6 Samba. 'rpcclient' exists with it but a call to 'man rpcclient' gets no results. Could it be that the man pages are in a later release? error handling
Hello R developers, Platform: Windows 2000. Compiler: GNU GCC - 2.95.2 (CRTDLL) I have a C function for evaluating commands using eval(SEXP,SEXP) which is included in a personal make of R.dll. (Similiar to R_Proxy_evaluate() in rproxy_impl.c) Using SETJMP to catch errors works but there is a problem. For example, the following code: if (SETJMP(R_ToplevelContext->cjmpbuf)) //

gretl and R: info and request
Hello, I thought some of you might like to know about a GNU project that is complementary to R in some ways, namely gretl http://ricardo.ecn.wfu.edu/gretl (GNU Regression, Econometrics and Time-series Library). gretl (a library with cli and gui clients, the gui using GTK) is designed to be very user-friendly, and suitable for teaching econometrics. It has a fairly wide variety of least-squares

Anyone use AdvancedVOIP ?
Has anyone used the Voip Billing System from http://advancedvoip.com/ ? They seem to also offer a billing solution for Interconnections. I'm curious if anyone has some experience using their software? Thanks, - Darren

[PATCH] virtio_pci: properly clean up MSI-X state when initialization fails
From: Anthony Liguori <aliguori at amazon.com> If MSI-X initialization fails after setting msix_enabled = 1, then the device is left in an inconsistent state. This would normally only happen if there was a bug in the device emulation but it still should be handled correctly. Seemingly simple question - current status?
I have a 3 different puppetmasters running different groups of machines (dev, testing, and production). I''d like to very simply say "Give me a brief summary of the status of the nodes you manage." I''ve been having nightmare dependency problems trying to get things like Dashboard running that seem to be able to do this (Ruby, which may be an elegant language, is very

conditional assignments and calculations
Hello! I am using the TeXmacs interface to R. (Though I encountered a similar problem when using Sweave) In doing calculations I often ecounter this scenario: I'll have some calculations in my file: -- A=read.lots.of.data() B=huge.calculation.on(A) C=another.calculation.on(B) -- Now, if A has already been read, I don't need to re-read it. If B has already been calculated, I don't

VNCsever not starting at boot
When I run system-config-services, it shows vncserver set to start at boot. in /etc/inittab I have init 3 vncserver does not start at boot. I log in on the console as root and service vncserver start and it starts with some warning messages about bad display name in "add" command, but I do not see where these are logged to copy them into this message. Once I start it from the
