Unexpected results using HTB qdisc
Hi All, I am using the script below to limit download rates and manage traffic for a certain IP address and testing the results using iperf. The rate that iperf reports is much higher than the rate I have configured for the HTB qdisc. It''s probably just some newbie trap that''s messing things up but I''m buggered if I can see it. [PATCH] ocfs2: avoid direct write if we fall back to buffered v2
when we fall back to buffered write from direct write, we call __generic_file_aio_write but that will end up doing direct write even we are only prepared to do buffered write because the file has O_DIRECT flag set. This is a fix for https://bugzilla.novell.com/show_bug.cgi?id=591039 revised with Joel's comments. --- fs/ocfs2/file.c | 23 ++++++++++++----------- 1 files changed, 12

[PATCH 1/1] Patch to recover orphans in offline slots during recovery and mount (revised)
During recovery, a node recovers orphans in it's slot and the dead node(s). But if the dead nodes were holding orphans in offline slots, they will be left unrecovered. If the dead node is the last one to die and is holding orphans in other slots and is the first one to mount, then it only recovers it's own slot, which leaves orphans in offline slots. This patch queues complete_recovery

Calculating volume size from superblock
Another simple question. How do I calculate the size of the volume from the superblock? Do I just use the two fields: u_int32_t s_blocksize_bits; /* Blocksize for this fs */ u_int32_t s_clustersize_bits; /* Clustersize for this fs */ What is the formula to use? Thanks, John
