DNS issue.. help ?!
Hi All,
i have DNS configured on my centos 5.2 server.
it's all working fine, right now i want to change the main public dns
from one IP to another to do some testing (the new public dns ip has
records which the old one doesnt have and it's done as such for testing)
so i got into /etc/resolv.conf and changed the first nameserver to the
NEW public DNS.
/etc/init.d/network restart

URL of website doesn't point anymore to CentOS/Drupal installation
sorry for the vague subject, but I couldn't find a better one.
I have the website http://digifreedom.net running on a Centos 4 VPS
with Apache and Drupal 6.10 . This is a multisite Drupal setup: only
one installation, with subdirectories in sites/, and a separate mysql
database for each website. For several reasons, I had setup DNS,
drupal and everything to work without the www prefix on

The perfect development environment?
I am trying to create the perfect development environment for rails
and i dont know exactly which way to go. Do i create a windows
environment or a *nix environment. If i go *nix, what distro is best
suited for rails. I would be using mysql, so that would come in to
play. If i go *nix, i would use apache. Any ideas for the right
environment would be greatly appreciated. I guess the major choice is
