mysteries of client_process_input()
I was trying to modify the way openssh client (3.9.1p)
handles keyboard input (regular input, once the
connection is made). I modified the
client_process_input function, but it seems that it
was never called. I confirmed this with gdb - setting
a breakpoint on that function never tripped.
Obviously, there must be some other function that
openssh uses to read keyboard input, but I can't find
it. What is it? And when is client_process_input
used?...

Read buffer size in clientloop.c
...o me that we talked about this already 3 years ago in a
thread about HPN-SSH, just the performance numbers were different:
http://marc.info/?l=openssh-unix-dev&m=114414372902485&w=2
So the question I have is again this:
Would it be ok to raise the buffers in client_process_net_input() and
client_process_input() to 64K, maybe only on Cygwin? Or to make the
buffer sizes a configurable option?
Thanks,
Corinna

user input in clientloop.c
Hi folks,
Could you tell me which function in clientloop.c is responsible for reading user keyboard input?
What I found are client_make_packets_from_stdin_data() and client_process_input(), but they not for 'compat20' mode. My app runs in 'compat20'.
Thanks,
Bob

Problem with latest OpenSSH - 2.5.2p2
We have been using OpenSSH version 2.3.0p1 for a couple of months now
with out problems. The same goes for several previous versions we have used
over the last year. However, I have just installed version 2.5.2p2 and it is
giving me some problems. If it were not for the latest security bulletins
strongly suggesting we upgrade, I would reinstall the 2.3.0p1 version.
I am running on a SGI
