The page does not work for me.
For some reason, the Downloads box has no text
and no clickable places, the cloud is not clickable
and the Downloads label is not clickable.

HTML vignette browser
Hi,
this is tangentially related to the recent discussion on vignettes.
vignette() currently produces a listing of available vignettes, but
these are not clickable. Since R has a browseURL() function, it seems
natural to have a version that produces HTML with clickable links.
Here's an attempt at that:
source("http://dsarkar.fhcrc.org/R/vignette-browser.R")
browseVignettes()
browseVignettes(package = "grid")
etc. Perhaps some varian...

HP SureStore 40x6e - Multiple LUN's problem on CentOS 4.4
This is one of those autoloaders where the tape drive and the library
share a SCSI ID, but are on different LUN's - specifically the library
should be on LUN 1. Apparently since so many devices like this are
broken, recent kernels don't probe beyond the first LUN, so it's not
detecting the library.

Packaging an Application on Mac OS X with Platypus
Platypus (http://sveinbjorn.sytes.net/platypus) is an application that
takes a shell script and packages it as a clickable Mac OS X
application.
I would like to have a clickable application that executes the command
"script/server" and displays the output in the text window, alongside
with a "quit"-button that ends the server process.
My shell script looks like this:

[newbie] formatting web-link in list.rhtml
Perhaps I need a break, but I can''t find the answer for this simple
question.
I have a database which also contains an internet address. I want to
show this address with a link (wich is named link).
When I do;
<%= link_to ''link'', camping.website %> I get a clickable link. But the
destination is http://www.my_own_homepage/www.homepage.nl (what I want
is of course http://www.homepage.nl)
I have tried a lot of options, and I am already googling for hours, but
I can''t get this simple task done :(

Rpad and R 2.10.0
I have problems with Rpad and R 2.10.0 (Windows XP and Windows 7,
browser is Firefox)
Just starting Rpad by
library(Rpad)
Rpad()
opens the browser and displays the
.html files and the .Rpad files in my home directory, but these
files do not have links and are not clickable.
Doing the same in R 2.9.2 gives clickable links in the browser.
Furthermore, in both cases an empty graphics window opens.
Has anybody else similar experiences?
Can anybody offer advice?

Photoshop menus
Hi,
Wine 0.9.17 user here having bad headaches with Photoshop menus...
When choosing an option from the context menu or some other sorts of
drop downs, the respective areas are not clickable even they are
highlighted.
Other thing would be that when I'm opening Blending Options, set some
effects, then click OK, the tool windows is disappearing ...
Could you advise on this matter, please? I'd be very grateful

Digest reading is tedious
Like many, I am sure, I get R-Help in digest form. Its easy enough to
browse the
subject lines, but then if an entry interests you, you have to embark
on this tedious search or scroll to find it.
It would be great to have a "clickable" digest, where the topics list
is a set of pointers, and clicking on a topic
takes you to that entry. I can think of at least one way to do this via
web pages, but I bet those with
more web skills than me can come up with an elegant solution.

Littering code with #ifdef is almost never a good idea.

How do you make wine do real uninstalls?
...ried installing various GPS/topo map software suites on
four Fedora machines under wine. On three of them, the install claims to
succeed; the suite fails even to launch; I try to uninstall it; the
uninstall either admits failure, or pretends to succeed while leaving the
software still there and clickable (but, of course, not launchable).
On one, I then ran a Fedora search (beagle, I suppose) against
the filesystem, checking for any such software still there; found none;
did "yum remove wine" followed by "yum install wine" -- and found the new
wine still offering the worth...

Now, I know this works in a shell. However, I want it to work for users
uploading files, but they can upload away without issue. Has anyone

kernel panic on Tyan Mobo's with CentOS 4
We've had a spate of these lately - about 3 or 4 boxes. I have a
feeling we just got a bad run of motherboards, but thought I'd try to
get some feedback.
These are servers running with the Tyan Thunder K8SD (dual core AMD's,
S2882 model). They have three onboard NIC's, two Broadcom gig NIC's
BCM5704C's and an Intel 82551QM which is a 10/100 board. We use the

Thanks for the report. That does look like a bug; I'll see if I can

Front ends handling help.search() results?
Which front ends process the help.search() results to produce nice
clickable lists, instead of the simple text display that's the default?
I know the R.app gui on Mac OS does; are there others?
I'm asking because one of the decisions made when R Core met in Vienna
was to allow vignettes to be returned as results of help.search(). All
of those front ends will...
