Gluster 3.1.2 and rpc-auth patch
...a rather easy task considering the quality of the source code.
A few lines in glusterd-volgen.c did the trick
It worked for us, so here is the patch which allow users to issue:
gluster volume set MyVolume rpc-auth.allow "10.*,192.*"
default is still "*"

Accent with winbind and pam_mkhomedir
...e characters
invit? seen from win98 and invi_ seen from linux.
it seems that the code page and de character set parameter is not passed
to winbind or does not affect
the username dialog. or the pam_mkhomedir...
i am a bit lost there help needed
do i miss something

Win98 domain and accent problems
Hello,
I am having a problem with accented folder and win98.
the setup is
PDC (under NT) , a Linux Samba as a file server added to the domain
(smbpasswd and winbind) and a W98 client
in any share, if i create a folder named "aaa" for exemple i can get in it.
but if i create a folder named "???" or any accented char i just can get
in it. Windows Error : no such file or
