Stop the relabeling of CD images
...ve' controller='0' bus='1' target='0' unit='0'/>     </disk> I am using libvirt-daemon-1.1.1-2.fc19.x86_64.  You might also find interesting bug #568935 [1]. So how do I stop libvirtd from changing the permissions of the CD images? Thank you, Cristian Ciupitu [1]: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=568935

Any recommendation about benchmarking tools on Linux virtual machine?
Hi all, Do you have any recommendation about benchmarking tools on Linux virtual machine for measure the potential performance hit by virtualization, especially on multi-threads computation, since I doubt if the CentOS VM can fully make use of the 32 vCPUs (out of 64 physical cores) that I allocated to it. /etc/machine-id
I was under the impression that the value of /etc/machine-id was unqiue for every OS installation on a system. This seems to be the case on real hardware. That is, if I install Fedora 19, Fedora 20, and Fedora-rawhide on a system, they will each have a different value for /etc/machine-id. This does not seem to be the case for qemy-kvm-libvirt virtual systems. SOmetimes they are different

Question regarding ssh and lxc
I'm trying to narrow down the source of a bug where a docker container sshd closes the connection after a successful authentication (https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1085081) - filed with libvirt as there's no docker-io component for RHEL 6.5 in bugzilla. One of the steps I'm taking is to reproduce a similar setup using LXC but while it seemed to have worked I'm not

virtio channel socket bind error
Hi All, My intent is to make virtio unix channel work. I could configure the XML and launch VM and could see the port in /dev/virtio-ports <channel type='unix'> <source mode='bind' path='/tmp/appl_port'/> <target type='virtio' name='appl_port'/> <address type='virtio-serial' controller='0'
