Proxy Server Routing - One last try
Objective:
All web traffic originating from my proxy server should be forwarded
through interface eth2 instead of the default eth0. The reply should
take the same path back to the proxy server.
Problem:
On the return bout, the kernel doesn''t pass the packet to the higher
layers. The reply seems to be getting tossed away between PREROUTING and
INPUT Netfilter chains.

Picolena, a ferret+rails documents search engine
...re say Picolena would be useful in a lot of companies (as a
google-mini alternative), and has already been working in production for
a few months without a hitch. This has been made possible thanks to
Ferret''s incredible speed. Kudos to the devs!

Samba over leased line
We have two Class C nets (192.168.1.0/24) and 192.168.2.0/24). These nets
are connected through a pair of router (BinTec) via ISDN.
The router have a short hold mode, i.e. cancels the line if no packets are
to be received or transmitted.
Recently we installed one Samba Server in a subnet. In the other subnet are
several clients, which print to the samba-server (via the ISDN link).
