Re: Illiminable DS filters for FLAC don't work
...course since I can now play my flac files. It does seem like a problem to me that the illuminable package is well advertised (ie. it is listed as the solutioon for FLAC on the WMP site) and yet it doesn't work. BTW, I think the URL in your signiture is incorrect 'mnatroska'. Tom. ChristianHJW wrote: > > Try this one here instead : > > http://packs.matroska.org . Header structure for &quot;video&quot; stream ?
I am writing a tool that gives information on movie files (http://avicodec.duby.info/) and I want to add ogg support. I have found full of information on ogg file format, vorbis file format, but nothing on the "video" bitstreams that I can found in some ogg files (with XVID movies mixed with vorbis audio for example). I can see that the "video" structe looks like this, but

Is there any speex plugin for windows media player?

( www.openacm.org ) But there is no plugin to load or save Vorbis Speex files natively, as far as I know. Christian <p>--- >8 ---- List archives: http://www.xiph.org/archives/ Ogg project homepage:

Directshow filters update - 0.66.8063
Another update to these filters... www.illiminable.com/ogg/ Here's the chagnes... * FLAC can now be muxed into a multi-stream file. * Now supports both the new Ogg FLAC (1.1.1) and the old Ogg FLAC (still not native FLAC) * Fixed the explorer problem by removing the offending registry key at installation * Removed a heap of memory leaks, WMP should run a fair bit leaner now * Some internal

FLAC Plug-in for Windows Media Player?
I was wondering if there is a FLAC plugin for Windows Media Player? Just from doing web-searches, it doesn't look like there is, at least as far as I can tell. So, if there isn't a plug-in for WMP, well, why isn't there? And is there anyone working on one? I'm a programmer, though I've never done any WMP programming. But, I would think it wouldn't be too hard to do a

Channel mapping
I'm currently adding multi channel playback support to my DirectShow Ogg/Vorbis filters and looking for a place to store the channel mapping. Are there already specs how and where to store it. There was already a suggestion 8 months ago (http://www.xiph.org/archives/vorbis-dev/200107/0026.html) to store it in a tag but the answer was that it should go into header. Is there any new about this?

OggVDS Where?
Where can I download the Ogg Vorbis DirectShow Filter? I've heard, that there is a newer version than 0.9.9.5. There's a bug in either OggMux or Tobias' Filter which causes text to be erased after special (unicode?) characters in the chapter list. Illiminable DS filters for FLAC don't work
At my company we have a bunch of music in FLAC format. We want to play it using the Windows Media Player, but none of us can get the illiminable DS filters to work. Here are some details. Illiminable DS filters http://www.wmplugins.com/ItemDetail.aspx?ItemID=681 http://www.illiminable.com/ogg/ We are using the latest build available on this website, and I have read all the known issues. Streaming With Flac
We have FLAC support on our AudioReQuest products, and we allow streaming from our built-in web server for MP3s, but can not get Flac working. Does anyone know a Windows based player that will play FLAC streams? I have tried the Winamp plug-in for FLAC (even updated it to 1.1.0), but streaming is not working. We use embedded id3 tags instead of Flac comments if this means anything. Thanks
