Cyber Power System CP1500 AVR UPS: changing battery.charge.low value [ups.delay.start sidebar]
Thanks Charles for the clarification.
If NUT cannot control it then removing it would, IMO add value.

Cyber Power System CP1500 AVR UPS: changing battery.charge.low value [ups.delay.start sidebar]
...ation if the reported value is known
to be incorrect. Overriding a variable that is out of scope for NUT (as
with upd.delay.start) only leads to false depictions of facts; the reading
would not match what will actually happen.

rsync/cwgwin hangs during transfers
Hi,
Rsync 3.0.7 and Cygwin 1.7.1 hangs at random instances. This does not happen
always and does not happen at all locations.
I can reproduce the problem. Others are having similar problems.
Can someone please guide me one what I can do to report such problems?
Regards,
Alan

NUT in a Master / Slave Environment - How things work
Hi,
I would like to confirm my understanding of how NUT operates in a Master /
Server environment. Some areas are not clear.
1 Power fails
2. Nut Master polls the UPS according to *POLLFREQ (in seconds)* setting in
*upsmon.conf*.
2.1 When *battery.runtime.low (in seconds)* or *battery.charge.low (in
%)* are greater than the ups reported value a *Low Battery (LB)* condition
becomes true.

driver.parameter.offdelay vs ups.delay.shutdown / driver.parameter.ondelay vs ups.delay.start
Hi,
My Cyber Power reports these two values. Each pair has the same value.
Would they normally be the same thing?
Thanks

Are all measurements are in seconds?
Hi,
I am studying (in a few months I might go on a TV quiz show :-)
Rodger's excelent guide and wanted to confirm that all measurements in
NUT are in seconds.
For example, the Cyber Power System CP1500 AVR UPS returns that the
**driver.parameter.pollfreq = 30**. This means that I can (maybe
should) adjust the settings within NUT.CONF to match this value.
Setting this value to 2 seconds gains
