...helps. The ices2 program is designed for .ogg streaming while icecast-1.3.12 and related streamers, MuSE, liveice and DarkIce will still stream .mp3 quite nicely. I use icecast-1.3.13, LAME and MuSE for KSL radio. Have uptimes in the hundreds of days. I've downloaded and successfully installed onto slackware 8.1 the following cvs packages: icecast2, ices, libshout, ogg, vorbis I copied the conf file called icecast.xml to /usr/local/bin I launch icecast with ./icecast -c ./icecast.xml but then the server gets a sigdie, signal 2 and terminates. I have an isp that uses NAT/PAT. So all incoming traffic is blocked except UDP connection (for example the Quake3 Arena server works). Is there any streaming server that listen on an UDP port the incoming connection? Is it possible under an Apache WebServer to create a page containing info about the audio stream currently going on icecast? I'd like to display the current song and no of listeners for example. Is it possible to include code in a html/php page. Thanks, Marco

I've two pcs (duron 700/512Mb RAM and a k6-2 350/360Mb RAM), a optical fiber 10MBit connection but...I'm connected to the internet through a NAT router which I can't configure (all incomings connections aren't mapped) so in theory I can't run servers on any kind.. Is there a cheap solution for this

Hello, anyone using ICECAST (Nekoware) on IRIX 6.5.22? I've setup nekoware compiled libs, icecast and ices on 6.5.22.
