Asterisk choking on voice messages announcements
Hi Everyone, I have a weired situation where calls in and out are proceessed all right but when I dial *97 Asterisk is literally choking when it comes to announcements like "Password" or "Call from 205-456-2222". Each one of those announcements can take like 10+ seconds to finish with most of it not even compoundable. I run "top" and there is no heavy load on CPU or

predict.gls choking on levels of factor
I've got a gls formula that's a mix of continuous and ordered variables. I wanted to use gls because I wanted to use the varIdent structure. Anyway, attempts to use "predict.gls" choke with the error that the levels I use are not allowed for one of them -- the first one alphabetically, so I'd guess the second would have the same problem. So I have three linked questions -- answering any of the three would set my mind at ease. (1) is it possible to make predict.gls friendlie...

Post held in moderation "Rsync chokes on this file"
I sent a message with the above subject:"Rsync chokes on this file", which as a 7Mb file attached to it and got a message that the post was held in moderation because the attached file is too large. What is the procedure for sending a file to the developers for checking? Can I upload the file somewhere and create a link to it in my email, or s...

I posted a message to the list earlier about rsync's problem with a file, - here is a link to the post.- http://permalink.gmane.org/gmane.network.rsync.general/24044 I have been trying to backup some files which rsync and it always chokes on this file. It simple halts with a non intuitive error message. rsync --version produces this info : rsync version 3.0.4 protocol version 30 It is the same on boths sides of the llink Can it be tested in some way? Is there some process for getting the rsync developers to check it? Here...

(fwd) Bug#319169: logcheck: chokes on log files whose names contain spaces
i did some cleanup first, but now i'm choking on a much earlier stage than i first thought. -- logcheck for file in $(egrep --text -v "(^#|^[[:space:]]*$)" $LOGFILES_LIST); do logoutput "$file" done -- that falls apart if you insert in /etc/logcheck/logcheck.logfiles a line like /var/log/auth .log even if you escape it with "", which is a valid

Sweave choking on \\ in filename
Dear all, Sweave chokes when using "\\" in the path to the Rnw file. Using "/" works fine. The problem is that Eclipse+StatET uses "\\" in the filename. And example of the error, traceback and sessionInfo are given below. Best regards, Thierry > Sweave("Q:\\BMK\\cursussen\\interne...

Ajax errors in safari
I am implementing some AJAX features into a web forum, and one feature works fine in Firefox and in IE, but it is choking in Safari. Safari will send the request fine and the data will be stored in the DB, but it is not responding correctly to the RJS that is being sent back. Anybody notice issues with Safari parsing the javascript sent back to the browser? -- Timothy Johnson

[LLVMdev] LLVM as a DLL
...tion is that there is a progressively larger body of tools that need to be "in on the joke" about compilation at various stages. This is particularly true about things like JIT engines, wherein every single process may need a completely redundant copy of the LLVM libraries. So if linkers choke on LLVM, we either need to submit upstream patches on those linkers or reconfigure the LLVM libraries so that things do not choke. shap

make tests failures (agent.sh)

utils::isS3stdGeneric chokes on primitives and identity
I added that so I can look at the proposed fix and put it or something similar in bugzilla for review final review. Connection to rsyncd over ssh tunnel seems to choke up (v2.6.9 Ubuntu)
I have been running the following (from a cron script with a non password authorized_key exchange) ... rsync -aP -vv --exclude=".*/" -e 'ssh -fN user at site.com.au -L 8873:127.0.0.1:873' rsync://localhost:8873/data/ /data/ ... and not getting much to happen as either evidenced in /var/log/rsyncd.log or as artefacts on the local file system. 2.0.5 smbmount chokes on chars needing shell-escape
Apologies if this has already been asked, but I couldn't find reference to it anywhere. Various windows versions allow characters in share names like " " and ")" (space, close paren) that need to be escaped when passed to the shell. However, it seems like the 2.0.5 smbmount calls smbmnt via the shell, and so if you try to do something like: smbmount

schema.dump chokes on RAW type
I haven''t seen anyone mention this yet. The tail end of the migration process is a call to schema.dump. Our primary keys are uuids and these choke schema.dump on both oracle and postgres. The latter fails silently (skips three tables) while the former complains about the RAW(16) in each of the three tables. Anyone had a similar experience? -- Posted via http://www.ruby-forum.com/. --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ You...

utils::isS3stdGeneric chokes on primitives and identity
Hi all, I have a patch that fixes this and also fixes/improves debugcall so that it supports pkg::fun(obj) and pkg:::fun(obj) style calls. I'm going to test it a bit more and add a regression test for isS3stdGeneric and then I will submit it to bugzilla tonight or tomorrow morning.
