2.6.2 rsync --daemon is not working for me
Can anyone explain to me how strace works? I mean does it need to modify
the system calls iternally for some kind of event notification.
Can it not be used for monitoring a process non-intrusively?

Ices source streaming client - timing out at 25 seconds when sending 300 streams (mount points)
Hi all,
I am trying to simulate load on on the icecast server using ices source
streaming client. I have setup 300 mount points and using the same playlist
to send to one icecast server. However, I see that the icecast server is
timing out because the source is not sending the data fast enough.
Could anyone please explain the internal workings of ices streaming client
and how it sends the

Error while running make on Linux machine - unable to install glusterfs
I am trying to install glusterfs on a Linux machine.
glusterfs version 3.3.2
*uname -orm*
*GNU/Linux 2.6.22-6.4.3-amd64-2527508 x86_64*

Ran* **./configure --prefix=mytempdir*

No errors reported here.
When I ran make, get this error. Any help appreciated. I am a newbie.
