cwRsync- chdir failed, server 2003
...archive: http://lists.samba.org/archive/rsync/2004-April/009187.html, and as far as I can see the only suggestion there was to check permissions. I have one further complication too- I'm trying to sync a remote server on to a vmware virtual disk that I've mounted using the tools at http://chitchat.at.infoseek.co.jp/vmware/vdk.html. I've got the package installed and set the upload directory during the install to the virtual disk (V: under windows), and I've checked that the disk is writeable. Do you have any idea or hint for me? Thanks

Unfortunatly both Windows and Linux (RedHat) need a floppy drive to load storage drivers etc. during installation. Odd question: memdisk emulate multiple drives?

I want to reset the service tag to the correct tag for the system, and the only way to do that is to run a Dell tool under DOS. I have downloaded the tool, but it is doubly-wrapped: a self-extracting ZIP file (which I unzipped under Linux) which contains a
