TTS in Asterisk on Solaris
Hello Group,
I have been going through all the chit-chat about TTS and the various
engines available to integrate with Asterisk incl. flite/festival, espeak,
Nuance etc but I am wondering if anyone's tried any or all of these to
compile on a Sparc based Solaris platform? If not, then what is the best way
for me to accomplish a production environ...

symbolic execution.
While that's a great start, it isn't enough to cover the whole day. (I
know Chris is long winded, but I don't think even he would enjoy talking
about Apple OpenGL and LLVM for 6 hours straight). We need more content
if we're going to do more than just chit chat all day.
Bottom line: we need your ideas and participation. Don't worry about the
posted Agenda, we can rearrange it to fit the things you want to talk
about. There are at least three categories of things you can propose:
1. A presentation/talk that you could give on anything related to...

Re : Wiki: Howtos/Virtualization/HyperV

Server, I'm very glad you found the time to write a Wiki article on the
issue. I remember the time drifts in particular, and wasting two whole
days troubleshooting the problem until I finally got it resolved - and
at that time, LIC was not even at version 2.
However, I'm not here to chit-chat about my experiences with Hyper-V and
CentOS, but to point out another issue (more of a pain in the butt) with
this software setup, and that is - the rebuilding of the kernel modules
every time you reinstall the kernel - something very recommended with EL
distro such as CentOS. And, in thi...

ext4 failure on cluster
...he strange thing is that
the clustered ext4 actually performs better when only one node is up.
2. Following what is happening with vbox and mysql, are Oracle likely to
re-licence ocfs2 in the same way any time soon?
3. IF (2), do openSUSE or anyone else plan a fork (thinking e.g.
mariadb)?
General chit-chat/verbose/historical answers especially welcome.
Thanks,
L & S pp all the Linux team here in Alicante.

personally and for the company and we realized early that by adding
IAX2 support, we could now take these platforms one giant leap forward

OT Problem seeing slave drives.
This isn't specifically about cent os, but I am running cent os on
this machine. I've got a Dell Dimension 2400 desktop pc. I've tried on a
number of occasions to put a second hard drive in the machine, but I
can't get the machine to recognize the second drive in BIOS. I'm going
to try and keep this short and sweet. I've tried all that I know to try.
I've set the

[cfe-dev] RFC: Moving toward Discord and Discourse for LLVM's discussions
There *are* open-source Discord clients, 3rd party tools and the like. The
corporation behind Discord is just not authorising you legally to use any
of those tools at hand. There are rarely any technical barriers or
countermeasures, though.

current skill level wasn''t sufficient to solve the problem.
I try hard to steer clear of tech support departments, preferring to
conserve whatever goodwill that exists for those times when there really
is no other option. With these folks, I figured I had likely burned any
chits I had and was standing in the red. I was prepared for flack.
Instead, within an hour or so, I received an email simply stating that
they were working on the problem. Some time later, I received another
email explaining that they believed the problem was solved. They had
discovered a bug in that p...

Adding drivers to NUT?
Dear Daniele,
nice to meet you, I'm a collegue of Gabriele.
The problem with "blazer_usb" driver ("blazer_ser" works correctly) is related to the following commands:
- "F" and "I": when the KRAULER subdriver check these UPS answers it uses wrong constants to check the lenght of the received packets, so these commands are considered as "not

Anyone know how to activate CallerID in FXS module (S100)? I've no problem to see the incoming caller ID in * console, but somehow this caller ID is not seen in my analog phone LCD (with caller ID enabled).
