SYSLINUX PXE LOCALBOOT Bitlockers
Label is OS and I believe there are all booting MBR. Is there a way to clear the memory then continue loading ? or rebooting the machine from the menu.
I have tried that reboot.c32 and cannot get it to reboot the machine.

SYSLINUX PXE LOCALBOOT Bitlockers
do you mean it cant be circumvented from the perspective of syslinux or TPM? Sadly firmware exploits are rampant. Core Security has good research on this as phrack...
SMM can be gotten to by far too much. Tho if you are targeted by that skill level then going to ic3 might be good idea.

SYSLINUX PXE LOCALBOOT Bitlockers
Any deviation from the expected boot process will prevent BitLocker from accessing the volume key in the TPM. One reason this behavior exists is to prevent malicious code from being loaded (such as via booting first to CD / USB / PXE, loading malware, and then continuing to boot to Windows). So what's happening here is the deviation from firmware -> PXE -> HDD is detected and the volume

That's a great question, actually, I should have remembered to mention that! You can control what factors are used for the TPM's integrity check to release the bitlocker key on boot. Depending on whether your on a BIOS or EFI machine, there are slight differences, but definitely controllable by group policy. http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ee706521(v=ws.10).aspx#BKMK_depopt3

SYSLINUX PXE LOCALBOOT Bitlockers
Hello;
I use Bitlocker on my machines and I notice that when I am in my PXE Menu and I select "Boot to Local Hard Drive" it continues on then bitlockers. I am assuming that the syslinux is still in memory, bitlocker is being triggered because of the change. I need a solution to overcome this. I cannot remove bitlocker from the machines.
Any and all help is appreciated.

Vista problem, with ADS samba
I am running samba 3.0.28 on linux servers using ADS security, without
any problem.
However when I added a vista workstation to the mix, it simply cannot
connect to my printers. I can connect to my data/ or disk shares again
without any problem from both 64bit vista, and 32 bit vista.
When I try to access my printers though I get "Windows cannot connect

centos and wine and fonts
I am using wine on centos 4.2, I have installed the corefonts package.
however, when running power point viewer under centos Some fonts or
symbols really dont show up quote right.
Example: what should be a chevron shows up as a little rain cloud.
What font package might I be missing to get the correct fonts?
THanks for any suggestions.

prefixed zlib and bzip2 headers
Hello,
I'm trying to compile R-3.3.3 or R-3.4.0 on a RHEL6 system that I've prefixed the latest headers down a shared utility path, I've sourced this path in LD_LIBRARY_LATH, R_LD_LIBRARY_PATH, and dropping the headers down /src/include which appears to be the default R_include_dir but it will not accept these any other place than /usr/include. Is there a way to properly define a

Upgraded to 2.9p1 with no luck..
Howdy,
After upgrading to 2.9 (OpenSSH_2.9p1, SSH protocols 1.5/2.0, OpenSSL
0x0090600f)
I'm unable to ssh between two systems any more (the two that I've upgraded).
I've recompiled from the original source several times, each time with no
errors,
regenerated host keys, regenerated client keys (using rsa), etc., to no
avail.
Below are some relevant snippets of debugging output

Samba 1.9.18p10 released.
The Samba Team are pleased to announce Samba 1.9.18p10.
Note that the 1.9.18p9 code was not distributed due to a
problem discovered during the final QA testing phase. However,
in order not to allow any confusion about versions the Samba
Team are upping the patch revision number to ensure we can
identify a particular release of code exactly.
It may be fetched via ftp from :

I want to use CNAMES for my SAMBA server, how?
I have a RedHat Enterprise 3 server running SAMBA 3.0.10. The server
has been joined to the Active Directory forest using its fully qualified
domain name.
Windows clients can successfully map drives using that fully qualified
name, However, services have a tendency to be moved or need failover
during maintenance
so I would prefer to tell customers to use a service alias like
