Test if remote file is actually RSS/XML
Hi all,
I want my users to be able to view RSS feeds of their choice on my site.
But i''d like to be able to check the files they are submitting as feeds
are actually XML before attempting to parse and display them.
I''ve been using feed tools to display the contents of feeds which works
perfectly, but i''d like some way to check if a file is a feed/xml.
Any pointers in

OGG->CDA programs ?????
Anyone have a status update on when Sonic Foundry plans on supporting RC2
ogg files? A while back on this list someone said they had a good contact at
SF and was supposed to chekc up on it.
I have contacted Ahead Software about including Vorbis support with Nero and
they asked that a developer contact them about including it. Any chance a
developer can contact them about support for Vorbis

some mdbox mails get lost each day
Hi,
I have a strange problem here. I had installed Dovecot-2.1.6 on a customers setup. They have 102 mail accounts on the server. The started using this dovecot version on the 20th June. One mailbox suddenly started expunging mails. Not from the current day, but one week back in the past. First I thought about an Outlook issue. Some filter or archieving thing, but we did a test and on one day,

Failover connection question
I''m still trying to figure out this problem, I appreciate any suggestions...
What I''d like to do is have a second default gateway path that never gets taken unless the first one goes into the "dead" state. I have installed Julian''s patch and it works great for loadballanced connections using the nexthop code, but I would like to setup the second default route

Some missong patches in 9.2-RC2
Hello,
I went through my local patches against base/releng/, 9.2 in that case.
There are some fixes which are noct in 9.2-RC1:
- Regarding kerberized builds:
http://lists.freebsd.org/pipermail/freebsd-bugs/2011-April/043902.html
- Regarding mfi and >2TB corruption, seems MFC reminder failed
http://www.freebsd.org/cgi/query-pr.cgi?pr=173291
- Regarding mount failok (seems r230226 got lost?)

?? Error: child 1064 (imap) killed with signal 4
After noticing a commit to the HG repository,
http://hg.dovecot.org/dovecot-1.0/rev/f88b1e225be5
about,
" We didn't update last_output timestamp with long fetches,
causing Dovecot to idle-disconnect the client."
I chekced out the latest from the DOVECOT-1.0 repo, and built again.
Unfortunately, this problem still exists. Login simply disconnects.
Any help, anyone?

Hi,
- Cortex-A8 needs a specific instruction scheduler as dual issue forces
you to interleave some instructions to allow to run two instructions in
the same cycle for the best performance (Cortex-A9 is out-of-order so
dual issue is not an issue (!) for performance).
- Cortex-A8/A9 have several useful new instructions : for instance, bit
operations like bitfield insertion/extraction or having

My goal is to have Cortex-A9 support complete in far less than three
months. I've recently gotten some additional help toward that goal, so
the pace should pick up soon.
As far as compiler texts, there are many newer texts to recommend as
just about all the major optimization passes are done differently
after SSA-form appeared in about 1991. However, for adding Cortex-A8
support, I don't

Dedicated Host Recommendations?
I currently have a dedicated server at ev1servers, but
it''s getting rather antiquated (Redhat 9) and am
looking to upgrade. I''m thinking about serverbeach.com
- one of their CentOS servers. Anybody have any
recommendations for dedicated servers on which to run
Rails? Hopefully less than $200/month.
Thanks!
