...diately remembered why I gave them up in the first place. That was version 8.5. Now, two versions after (yes, I've overslept a whole release, and I feel fascinatingly relaxed after that), the problem persists. Running WINE in fullscreen results in display corruption, symbolically called "Checekerboard of Doom", because, well, it looks like a checkerboard. Anyone around here have an idea what to do about it? (apart from not using full-screen)
