acl_xattr and root permissions
Hello,
I'd like to know if, when using acl_xattr to store Windows ACLs in the
security.NTACL extended attribute, Samba knows to always to set the
attribute within the "root" context, or will it attempt to do it in the
(domain) user context that's requesting the change?
As I understand it, on Linux only root is allowed to modify extended
attributes in the "security"

Robocopy, archive bit and ACLs
Hello,
I'm attempting to set up a daily Robocopy task on a Windows Server 2016
to duplicate a large directory tree -- including data, timestamps and
ACLs -- to a Samba 4.5.12 server.
This is my Robocopy command:
Robocopy.exe C:\source \\foo\bar /XA:SH /XJ /MIR /NODCOPY /COPY:DTSO
/A+:A /ZB
I noticed that for a significant number of files, Robocopy will
systematically identify them as

acl_xattr and root permissions
...t; and "Creator Group" settings.
1777, creator owner
2777, creator group
3777, both..
Change the 777's to what you need.
That should help you.

Help Non-sequential ANOVAs

I have data
on the maturity of two morphs of fish. I want to test whether their maturity is
evolving differently or not on a temporal scale (month). The maturity variable (independent
variable) is continuous and the morph and month variables (dependant variables)
are categorical. Because the data show variance heterogeneity, I modeled it
with the function gls:
kg1 =
