disabling modules - how?
...r do not need at the moment. For example I am

want to use chan_zap (I'm using chan_capi) and don't want to be
bothered with
music on hold at the moment.
Is there a way to configure these things off so asterisk doesn't try
to load them?
Or do I have to just move/delete the chan_xxx.so from /usr/lib/
asterisk/modules?
What's the right thing to do?

Asterisk Interface to propriotary system and GPL
Hi All,
I am wondering if I will be breaking the GPL,
if I write for example, a channel driver or
make some modifications to the astrisk source code,
to interface at RUN TIME, through sockets, with
a proprietary system.
Eg.
1. I write chan_xxx + modify asterisk source
(make changes + new code publicly available)
2. chan_xxx supports hardware by XXX Corp.
3, XXX Corps interface is proprietary.
4. I write a layer over XXX Corps API, that uses sockets,
with the ONLY intent to BYPASS the GPL restrictions

Installation of Unicall for MFC/R2
Hi,
Anyone there could figure me out on how to install my unicall. I followed the instruction below in the stated site at; http://soft-switch.org/unicall/installing-mfcr2.html.
Questions:
1. On what directory/folder should I copy the chan_unicall.c, channels_makefile.patch?
2. On what directory/folder should I command patch < channels_makefile.patch?
3. On what directory/folder should I
