Hi, FreeBSD-9 works fine on this Lenovo T400 - except that suspending with no USB devices plugged in result in no ports working after resume. If I have a device plugged in during suspend - on any port - then all the ports work fine after resume. Hi, As a next question to my building this server. I'm nogt able to get a full verbose dmesg. Probably because the kernelbuffer for it is too small. I know there used to be a kernel option to increase it. But I can not find it with the setting in NOTES or any other place I looked.... Is it still there? Thanx, --WjW

Hi, I'm toying with the SMP/i386 ACPI suspend/resume patches in -9. Thanks so much for this! I've noticed though that the video backlight stays off after resume. A common problem on -9, so I set hw.acpi.reset_video=1. That restores the backlight. However, the video mode isn't restored. Hi, I'm having issues connecting Garmin GPS 18 to COM1 on 9.1, I get nothing but silence. Identical setup works absolutely fine with Linux. I've got PPS wire connected to DCD, but that seems to make no difference on Linux, so I presume it shouldn't affect fbsd either. I'm running 9.2-RC4 on a handful of desktop and server machines (both i386 and amd64). I have seen three panics (all vm_page_unwire) on one of those systems only (amd64 server) during the past week. The first two panics were triggered when shutting down the ntpd daemon (a recent development snapshot version of ntpd: 4.2.7p387). Exiting a later release (p388) has not triggered the panic.

Two machines (NFS Server: running ZFS / Client: disk-less), both are running FreeBSD r253506. The NFS client starts to deadlock processes within a few hours. It usually gets worse from there on. The processes stay in "D" state. I haven't been able to reproduce it when I want it to happen. I only have to wait a few hours until the deadlocks occur when traffic to the client machine
