OK, .Internal is not necessary to reproduce oddity in this area. I also see things like (notice 1980) > strptime(paste0(sample(1900:1999,80,replace=TRUE),"/01/01"), "%Y/%m/%d", tz="CET") [1] "1942-01-01 CEST" "1902-01-01 CET" "1956-01-01 CET" "1972-01-01 CET" [5] "1962-01-01 CET" "1900-01-01 CET"

Regression in strptime
This is definitely obscure but we had a unit test that called .Internal(strptime, "1942/01/01", %Y/%m/%d") with timezone (TZ) set to CET. In R-3.1.3 that returned "1942-01-01 CEST" which, paradoxically, is correct as they evidently did strange things in Germany during the war period. Java also returns the same. However, R-3.2.4 returns "1942-01-01 CET".

format() method
Hello, I use format() function to get number of the week, like this: format(tmp,'%U') Recently, I have spotted something bizarre. For example, I have such object: (index(tmp$x.delta['2009'][1:16])) [1] "2009-01-02 CET" "2009-01-09 CET" "2009-01-16 CET" "2009-01-23 CET" [5] "2009-01-30 CET" "2009-02-06 CET"

a strange behavior on a small memory system with tun0
Hello I am using openssh as vpn on a router with freewrt.org and rsync to sync my local data to a remote server. Everything works fine for me so far. The only problem is that the channel-1 (tun0) goes down on the router after 50-200MB transfered via tun0 or after 5-20 hours only with a ping to the server . Channel-0 is still working. Tcpdump shows that a ping from the router to the server via

Why did you expect to have 177647 elements ? Samba 4 & W2k8_R2 - No automatic DNS Updates
What works: - Samba4 Server migrated from Samba3 data. - adding a 2008_R2 DC. - Replication sofar as I could monitor. - internal DNS Server on Samba. What fails: Automatic DNS Updates are not working, althought "allow dns updates = true" in smb.conf is set - which seems to enable secure AND unsecure updates. Manual adding an Record works on both machines, and it gets replicated on
