Can't this code be integrated in the main tree? Another thing compilation on Solaris. Flac live audio stream
Hi, I am looking for a way to stream live audio using the FLAC audio format. After some analysis myself I found various lossy alternatives, also in higher levels of kbps (like MP3 320 kbps). But I do want to challenge and be sure whether FLAC might be a possibility. So I am specifically looking for an encoder and server solution supporting live streaming FLAC audio. Do you have a

Lots of udp (multicast) packet loss in domU
...ass/net/eth2/rxbuf_min " all reported errors have gone away (ie, dom0 does not report dropping any packets) but we still see loss. Any suggestions at all would be greatly appreciated. I know we have something borked on our end since this white paper shows high domU udp performace: http://www.cesnet.cz/doc/techzpravy/2008/effects-of-virtualisation-on-network-processing - but at the same time a qoogle search shows tons of issues around UDP packet loss with Xen. Any help would be greatly appreciaited. The hardware is an 8 core, 2.33 GHz penryn (Xeon) based system. We have Intel quad GigE ni...

Sporadic Bus error on mmap() on FUSE mount
Hi, I need to use rrdtool on top of a Gluster FUSE mount, rrdtool uses memory-mapped file IO extensively (I know I can recompile rrdtool with mmap() disabled, but that is just a workaround). I have three FUSE mount points on three different servers, on one of them the command "rrdtool create test.rrd --start 920804400 DS:speed:COUNTER:600:U:U RRA:AVERAGE:0.5:1:24" works fine, on
