I have some scripts using certwatch from the crypto-utils package. This rpm seems to be unshipped with EL8. Any ideas whats the "new" tool to check pem cert files? -- Leon

...ecked with the providers "ssl installation diagnostic tool" whether everything is fine - and it is, all reported good. Then I opened a browser, loaded the https website, checked the certificate and it's valid until 8/02/2017, which was reported by above, as well. I know I could turn certwatch off, but I like the warning as I have a few certs on different websites, domains and machines. How come certwatch is still complaining? I am getting /tmp/yum_save_tx.2017-12..... files in /tmp one every hour. What process is making these files ??? I have stopped PackageKit so its not running. I am running CentOS 7.4. With GNOME desktop. Thanks Jerry
