C7: need authconfig against LDAP
...://ldap-blabla/ \
--ldapbasedn="blabla" \
--enablecache --disablefingerprint \
--kickstart --update
All is working fine, the directory structure is fine and compliant.
What about C7?
As far as I read,
- there is a switch to "sssd"
- I found 1 link:
http://www.certdepot.net/ldap-client-configuration-authconfig/
Is there something in particular I should pay attention for?
Note that I have only GUI-less servers.
Thank you.

Samba AD firewalld services
Now with firewalld, opening up ports is now 'better' done by opening
services. So what do I need, for starters it seems:
dns, dhcp, dhcpv6, samba, kerberos
Here is the list of services:
RH-Satellite-6 amanda-client bacula bacula-client dhcp dhcpv6
dhcpv6-client dns
ftp high-availability http https imaps ipp ipp-client ipsec kerberos
kpasswd ldap
ldaps libvirt libvirt-tls mdns mountd

/etc/sysconfig/iptables syntax
You need to disable firewalld and install iptables, if you really want use
old way:
https://www.certdepot.net/rhel7-disable-firewalld-use-iptables/
Firewalld is preferred way. You should learn it..

This Red Hat documentation explains how the naming works:

/run is a tmpfs that gets recreated on every boot. Your permission
changes won't persist a reboot. See here:
https://lwn.net/Articles/436012/
You could instead drop a systemd unit file customization file into
/etc/systemd that changes the user that php-fpm runs as.

/etc/sysconfig/iptables syntax
The last two router/firewall servers I had used Slackware and Gentoo.
I'm used to writing complete and explicit iptables rules; however, when I
set up /etc/sysconfig/iptables in CentOS 7 my usual syntax is unusable.
For example, I'm used to stating postrouting masquerade as:
/usr/sbin/iptables -t nat -A POSTROUTING -o eth0 -s 10.10.10.0/24 -j
MASQUERADE
But when I use the rule above,
