Join new DC to domain - advice to upgrade Samba 4.
I was wondering if is possible to install a new fresh updated Debian in a
new host and transfer (copy with cp or something like that) the samba files
and database from old ADC02 Samba DC to this new host?

I was wondering to first upgrade Samba on the new joining DC and if I get
success and have a second working AD, then upgrade the Samba in the first
working DC.
Can someone guide me to this issue?

Winbind help - with domain migration.
Hello guys
I need some lights to migrate a Winbind/Samba share to a new AD.
My scenario is:
I have an old AD running on a Debian 9 and Samba 4.5.16 with many
replication issues.
Then I decided to create a new one from the scratch using Debian 10 and
Samba 4.12.2 (and everything is working perfectly). I have migrated all the
accounts/machines/etc from old to new domain without any problem.

OpenPVN authentication via Samba AD
A little off topic, but this does revolve around
Samaba.
I'm hoping someone can help me get to a working aolution.
I haven't been able to find a clear quide, but it must
have been done by others.
I'm trying to use setup a VPN using OpenVPN on Pfsense
with authentication via my Samba AD (Version 4.9.4-Debian)
I keep getting a "Could not connect to LDAP server" error
when
