Hi, Centos 6.8 comes with pulseaudio 0.9, but I want to use pulseaudio 6.0 or higher version, which is used on centso 7. How to build/install new pulseaudio on centso 6.8? Are there some dependency libs for pulseaudio? is there some rpm of pulseaudio 6.0 for centos 6.8? Thanks Regards andrew

I have a simply script that I cannot get a font size bigger than 40. Changing the font_size value to 80 does not make the font any bigger just the background. How do I get a bigger font than 40? I have a machine with 2 network cards. Installing centos 5 on it. I set up both cards with static IP addresses. activate on boot etc... One is e1000 Intel the other is onboard forcedeth (nvidia). I just noticed that on centso 4.5 I have an executable with the +s (chmod +s myexe) doing a chmod root myexe and chown root myexe does NOT affect the +s setting. However, on centos 5 this is not the case. chmod +s myexe chown root myexe or chgrp root myexe will DROP the +s status. How can I get around this? I want to keep the owner, group, world settings.
