Hi, Centos 6.8 comes with pulseaudio 0.9, but I want to use pulseaudio 6.0 or higher version, which is used on centso 7. How to build/install new pulseaudio on centso 6.8? Are there some dependency libs for pulseaudio? is there some rpm of pulseaudio 6.0 for centos 6.8? Thanks Regards andrew

I have a simply script that I cannot get a font size bigger than 40. Changing the font_size value to 80 does not make the font any bigger just the background. How do I get a bigger font than 40? Is there a cisco vpn client for linux centso 5 AMD 64 bit? Using google it talks about cisco vpn client but everyplace to download is blocked. I then found a vpnc reference but did not find a 64 bit version. yum install vpnc did nothing.... What is my next step? Jerry

I have a machine with 2 network cards. Installing centos 5 on it. I set up both cards with static IP addresses. activate on boot etc... One is e1000 Intel the other is onboard forcedeth (nvidia). After I reboot the forcedeth ifcfg-eth1 file is changed to DHCP. I use netconfig -d eth1 to set it back up and reboot again and the changes back to DHCP. Only thing to add here is the network card

Hi all, When putting multiple centos 5.1 boxes on a network (DHCP for network) and 1 centos 5.1 server is there a way that these clients can automatically "seek" the server. Is there something in centso 5.1 that an inquiry can be sent out that says: Is there a "Product XYZ" on this network? And the server - and not all the clients - can respond to this quiry. Just wondering, trying to reduce my setup time... Jerry

I just noticed that on centso 4.5 I have an executable with the +s (chmod +s myexe) doing a chmod root myexe and chown root myexe does NOT affect the +s setting.
