I recently ran into some problems using certain oVirt (3.3) features on CentOS 6.4 hosts. The solution was to use the qemu-kvm-rhev version from the EL6 RHEV repository: http://ftp.redhat.com/pub/redhat/linux/enterprise/6Server/en/RHEV/SRPMS/qemu-kvm-rhev-0.12.1.2-2.355.el6_4.9.src.rpm It seems that this tree is not carried/built by CentOS. Are there any plans on the CentOS for carrying these

Hi I have a problem with Yum update or install and the error message is as below. The same will work if I do U2date install Package name. But yum wouldn't do.! This problem exists with every install or update I do with Yum. Can some one direct me where am I going wrong? Hi everyone, Is there anything else we could do to check on this problem and try to fix it? The issue is definitively related to either the samba vfs gluster plugin or gluster itself. I am not sure how to pin it down futher. I went ahead and created a new share in the samba server which is on a local filesystem where the OS is installed, not part of gluster: # mount | grep home ]# ls -ld /home

I don't think it is vfs plugin because you haven't updated samba packages

Thanks for taking the time to look into this. Since we needed downtime due to the gluster update, we also updated the OS, including samba. We went from 4.2.x to 4.4.4 and many other packages for CentOS were updated as well. OS and samba updates were installed, then server rebooted, then gluster was updated. Created a new test samba share to minimize logs, etc: [VfsGluster] path = /vfsgluster

Trying to revive this old thread as problems continue.
