LSI software raid with centos 5.4
Hi, I have been trying to install CentOS 5.4 on a Intel SR1530SHS, Intel S3200SH mainboard.. It has a 3 x 1TB sata hotswap drives with LSI software raid onboard. I had configured the LSI to have Sata0 and Sata1 with raid 1 and the third drive as a hotspare drive. Format the harddisk and installation was a breeze. The server rebooted into a blank screen and the cursor just keep blinking. Please

Hi ppl . I am getting a IBM x3200.. This machine can only support up to 4 x 250GB SATA. I need to have a usable space of 500GB and mirror it to other 500GB. IBM proposed me to get 2 RAID cards. resolve problem
Hi, I had install a CentOS 4.3. In etc/resolve.conf, the nameserver i use is the static IP which i was issue by the datacentre. I cant resolve any domain. But if i use a public DNS IP, i am able to resolve. What is wrong with my IP? regards

centos 5 iptables
Hi, I applied a set of iptables rules and started iptables without any trouble. But after i edited the rules and restarting it, it gives me "Applying iptables firewall rules: iptables-restore: line 35 failed". I looked into /etc/sysconfig/ for the mentioned file and it was not found. I did a quick check and locate only found /sbin/iptables-restore. I had done updatedb before using
