Replacement for Linux-HA (heartbeat) - RedHat cluster?
...have I got to
help me:
1. Use IPVS to maintain a cluster of virtual servers, either master/slave or
load-balanced.
2. Use DRBD in master/slave fashion to keep a home-grown application
highly-available.
The first thing I stumbled upon is RedHat Cluster Suite (
http://www.linuxtopia.org/online_books/centos_linux_guides/centos_cluster_configuration_and_management/),
from which I also saw some packages on my CentOS servers.
I've never heard of it before and am just starting to dig its docs, but if
someone here can confirm/deny that this is a possible route to take it might
save me some time or doubts.
Thanks,...

Diskless client from system-config-netboot doesn't boot.
Hi folks,
I've followed a set of instructions I found on

followed the instructions, extrapolatin...

administering an MS Windows partition under Linux
Hi all,
If I have a dual-boot machine (Linux and Windows) would I have any
good tools under Linux that would allow me to look at the content of
the Windows boot partition, administer it, clean up the registry,
remove viruses if any, etc? The Windows installation seems to be so
defective as to be quite useless so I am trying to think of a good
strategy for dealing with the situation.

Configuring a cluster
Dear Centos users,
I am not sure if this the correct place to post but it seems sensible.
I have an 8 node cluster which I want to install/configure Centos. As
I am not a sys-admin, can anyone advise me on what I should do?
Any suggestions appreciated.
Thank you.
