A working SIP Phone for Centos44?
...n the
quality of the microphone. I tried two that support alsa. Kphone does,
but dtmf (the numbers) are not recognized by Asterisk :-(
I tried X-lite, but that has really terrible voice quality (mic).
I tried Sflphone (has alsa support) and that worked on FC4 (not on FC3)
and it does not work on Centos44 either:
[root at raaf ~]# rpm -i sflphone-qt-0.6.2-1.i386.rpm
error: Failed dependencies:

Ubuntu dom0 crashes hen I run centos guest.
I know I''ve heard about a second guest causing Ubuntu to crash, but this
it the first guest. It used to run but I added another logical volume
to the disk line for additional disk space and it now crashes.
Here''s the difference between the good and bad files:
diff newcentos44 centos44

centos-4.4 and xen?
Hi,
has somebody already got xen running on centos 4.4?
Does the tutorial under
http://mark.foster.cc/wiki/index.php/Centos-4_on_Xen also work for
version 4.4?
I don't have my new server yet in order to try it (it will be delivered
at the end of the week), but I'd like to read a little bit about it in
advance.
Thanks
Michael

GNU Telephony Centos repository
The Gnu Telephony site: http://wiki.gnutelephony.org
Has a Centos repo: http://dist.gnutelephony.org/RPMS/
But I caught some text stating that this is for Centos 4.2.
Is it really? Is there a difference; i.e. would it be safe to install
these on Centos 4.4?
Really I am after Twinkle, and it seems there is a lot you need to
actually get Twinkle installed...

Update to base release
Hello All,
We have some machines running CentOS 4 Update 4 (4.4). We want to update
these boxes to the stock CentOS 4 Update 8 (4.8).
We have the 4.8 iso images. Is it possible to use up2date and have it use
the 4.8 mounted iso images on a remote (install) server as the repository?
The ISO's are accessible through http. These servers are remote with no
CD/DVD option to upgrade that way.
I have
