Regression in nvfx-next since yesterday
Celestia 1.6.0 again shows corrupted rendering on planets, other parts
rendered correctly with the latest git pull on the nvfx-next-5 tree.
Yesterday's nvfx-next tree worked perfectly.

[fdo] Xwinwrap feature request
Hello!
I'd like to request a feature for xwinwrap. I wish
that xwinwrap can also run other OpenGL apps beside
xscreensavers. Personally, I'd like to run the
astronomical program Celestia in the backgroud desktop
while I work in other apps.
http://www.shatters.net/celestia/gallery.html
I thought it would be cool. I hope xwinwrap can do
this someday. Thank you very much :-)
Michael

DAGIR
...e close to the metal format, designed to unlock the potential of any
architecture for the digital world. DAGIR is a stable binary format derived
from LLVM's SelectionDAG virtual machine, a proven platform for
optimization and selection of machine architectures. Together with a new
linker ("celestia") and the well-known STABS ("stabs") debugging format,
this is a platform with a bright future and a host of possibilities for
stable, portable software that will power a sea of nodes of the coming
internet of virtual things. We look forward to working with the community

Can I play any Win7 game on Linux?
...about the top FPS. I can cope with having to learn command prompt. I just want compatibility.
I have Steam on my EEE PC and I want to run those games on my new, faster desktop PC, including Minecraft, Sanctum, Civ4, Crysis2, Battlefield2, any future maximum requirement game, the astronomy program Celestia, Google Earth with the graphics cards. I want to use Linux exactly for the same things as I'm using my Windows, if not exactly the same way.
I am ready to give up Win, as I've wanted to do since the 1990's. Just as long as you tell me, hard, cold and honest truth, weather Linux can ru...

New Quantian release with over 800 CRAN/BioC packages
...or this message is quantian-general at lists.alioth.debian.org
so that discussions can be continued on the list.
V Known Bugs in 0.7.9.1
o Debian's current C++ transition affects the KDE packages. Several
packages had to be installed from the stable relase, and a few
(celestia, gdal) are currently uninstallable. This should should
improve over the next few weeks/months.
o Kdvi is broken. However, xdvi works as do the various pdf previewers
so (PDF)LaTeX use is still possible.
