cross-realm spnego issue in 3.0.2rc1
Hi,
I just installed 3.0.2rc1 for testing, and I came across a problem with
cross-realm authentication. I joined samba to our active directory
domain, and I can see that it has host and cifs principals in windows
kerberos. Our organization's primary kerberos realm (CEDE.PSU.EDU) is an
MIT kerb5 realm, and we have a one-way non-transitive trust such that
windows (server 2003) kerberos

[LLVMdev] Random, tiny question about doxygen comment style
Figured it was good to ask this as James is busy making sure the Clang
doxygen is actually all well formed, and reasonably linked together so we
have proper docs for the ever growing number of Clang library users...
There are two ways to use doxygen directives:
/// \brief ...
and
/// @brief ...
I'd like to pick one form and be consistent going forward (with no real
intention or need to

Still the big Icecast problem!
...using it without fear that they'll
lose listeners due to their protocol choice. I've been streaming for
more than 7 years now with Quicktime, Shoutcast, and most recently
Icecast and it's been interesting to see how the technologies in the
space have vied for dominance, ultimately ceding to MP3.
In 2000, Shoutcasting was difficult because nobody had MP3 players
installed and it was a pain to download. Microsoft changed this by
including Windows Media Player and suddenly there was an embedded base
of MP3 listeners out there looking for something to tune into. Cue the
demise o...

In the long-term view, a pretty trivial catch-up script ought to be
able to synthesize a sane history after any amount of down-time.
People could even run it locally for their bisecting needs if it was
that important to them.
In the short term, I

[PATCH v8 3/6] powerpc: lib/locks.c: Add cpu yield/wake helper function
Add two corresponding helper functions to support pv-qspinlock.
For normal use, __spin_yield_cpu will confer current vcpu slices to the
target vcpu(say, a lock holder). If target vcpu is not specified or it
is in running state, such conferging to lpar happens or not depends.
Because hcall itself will introduce latency and a little overhead. And we
do NOT want to suffer any latency on some cases,

Of course. But that's not the whole story. Microsoft only
supports MP3 because so many people listen to mp3 radio
stations and files. And before

[PATCH v8 0/6] Implement qspinlock/pv-qspinlock on ppc
Hi All,
this is the fairlock patchset. You can apply them and build successfully.
patches are based on linux-next
qspinlock can avoid waiter starved issue. It has about the same speed in
single-thread and it can be much faster in high contention situations
especially when the spinlock is embedded within the data structure to be
protected.
v7 -> v8:
